- Best Time to Journey: All year long. This journey is perfect for every season. This journey is much quieter in the winter and some venues many have reduced hours or be closed for the season. During peak season we recommend you travel during the week if you can, as this is a very popular area. Otherwise, all 5 surprise outdoor stops are always open. Most wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries (always optional) are open every day during peak season but may operate at reduced hours during the winter.
